Larry Luddecke has played the piano as long as he can remember (age 5?), and has been a professional musician for over 30 years. He has toured with John Hammond, Lavern Baker, Jonathan Edwards, and Dana Gillespie. He was the musical director for Tom Rush's band for four years. When not on the road, Larry has been in countless local bands - Skyhook, the Sidewinders, Vas Deferens, Heidi and The Secret Admirers, and The Band That Time Forgot. He has been running Straight Up Music since 1978, and is an award-winning songwriter and
in-demand session keyboardist. He has performed in many film and TV scores -
Lone Star, Limbo, Brother From Another Planet, City of Hope, Men With Guns, and Tom Hanks' "From Earth to the Moon" for HBO. Larry has amassed literally thousands of studio hours as player, producer, and engineer, all of which makes work easy and fun!
